The Taj at sunrise, the fort and the Baby Taj, then the drive home in the afternoon.

  1. 5:30 AM Taj Mahal at sunrise Built by Shah Jahan for Mumtaz Mahal between 1632 and 1653. Cars stop at the parking area and electric buses run to the gate. The Taj is closed on Fridays; the separate ticket for the main mausoleum is optional.

In some places the local taxi union does not allow outside vehicles for local sightseeing — in Ladakh, and for Rohtang Pass in Manali. There, the local sightseeing is done in a local taxi, paid separately.

In the event of a landslide, flood, heavy snowfall, earthquake or any other natural occurrence that closes a road or a monument, we are not responsible for the resulting delay, detour or cancellation. Any additional running or halt on that account is charged as per actual.
