Delhi to Char Dham Taxi Tour — 10 Days / 9 Nights

1900 km from Delhi • Uttarakhand • Complete 10-day itinerary

The Char Dham circuit covers roughly 1,900 km of Himalayan road from Delhi and back, taking in Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath in that traditional order. It is the most demanding pilgrimage we run, and the detail that surprises most first-timers is how much of it is on foot: Yamunotri needs a 6 km trek from Janki Chatti, and Kedarnath a 16 km climb from Gaurikund unless you take the helicopter. The season runs from late April to early November, and the temples close for winter. We assign drivers who have run these roads for years, because the stretches above Uttarkashi and Rudraprayag are narrow, and weather changes the plan more often than traffic does. Itineraries are paced so pilgrims arrive rested rather than worn out.
