Delhi to Tirupati Taxi Tour — 9 Days / 8 Nights

1900 km from Delhi • Andhra Pradesh • Complete 9-day itinerary

Tirupati is 1,900 km from Delhi, the longest road pilgrimage we run, and it takes four days of driving each way through Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Telangana with night halts at Jhansi, Nagpur and Hyderabad. It is a long trip, and the families who take it by road usually want exactly that — the whole group together in one vehicle for the full journey, with room for everything a long pilgrimage carries. The destination is the Venkateswara Temple at Tirumala, on the seventh hill above Tirupati town, which receives more pilgrims than almost any religious site on earth. Darshan runs on a timed token system, and understanding it is the difference between two hours and twelve, so we plan arrival to secure the right slot. Below the hill, Tiruchanur, Kapila Theertham and the Sri Kalahasti temple round out the visit.
